Do I need a credit card to start the Pro trial?

Yes. The 14-day Pro trial puts a card on file so your access continues automatically when the trial ends. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged. The free encoder tier needs no card at all.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel anytime from the Stripe billing portal — open it from the pricing page or your account to manage payment, view invoices, or cancel. There is no long-term contract; Pro is billed month to month or annually until you cancel.

How does the founding-member rate work?

Founding members get the $19.99/month founding rate while the founding window is open. Once the window closes, the standard rate for new members is $29.99/month.

How much do I save on the annual plan?

HCC Buddy is built Zero PHI — it never stores, logs, or transmits Protected Health Information. Because no PHI enters our systems, HCC Buddy is not a HIPAA covered entity or Business Associate, so a Business Associate Agreement is not required for individual Pro use. Coding teams that need a BAA on file can request one with a team plan.
