This page is the receipt: the exact CMS editions in production right now, their effective windows, and the source status of model mappings. Every code page links back here. FY2027 ICD-10-CM reference available
FY2027 code descriptions, billable status and Tabular instructions are available in the reference tools. The FY2027 source files were downloaded again on October 1, 2026 and match the registered files. The order-file comparison has 238 added entries and 21 removed entries. This includes 190 new billable codes. A further 15 retained codes become headings; together with 15 billable removals, 30 formerly billable codes stop being billable. The effective date is October 1, 2026. CMS-HCC V28 mappings follow the CMS 2027 Initial ICD-10-CM Mappings for 2026 dates of service. New FY2027 codes and other risk models remain pending. New files are staged and reconciled against the official CMS addenda before anything ships. The FY2027 set was validated at 238 added and 21 removed order entries against the CMS delta files.
